Default Another problem, Broken clutch basket????

So I take my 2012gasgas 300 out and it breaks again. Two of the six spring mounts on the inner clutch basket broke off, breaking the clutch cover at the same time. WTF. I want to like the bike. Has anyone else had this problem???? I have a source that will really help me out with the parts. But once again this really makes me wonder about the quality of gasgas. This was the First day that I started pushing the bike close to race pace. Please somebody offer me some suggestions. Again tomorrow I will be taking my trusty ktm 300 for some practice.

Pictures?

I haven't popped the clutch cover on my 2013 yet, but my 2010 has over 300hrs of punishment on original everything.

My basket on my 12 came apart. Also I remember some people saying the bolts coming loose on the inner basket and putting a hole in the cover. Replace with rekluse parts and you should be fine. This was the first thing I did to my 13.
Remember our conversation? You should be good now hang in there you'll love the bike once your past the clutch problems. Talk to Budd Matto he will get you hooked up with some Honda plates and you will be good to go.
Give me a shout.

Wow, not having much luck. That's not wimpys old bike is it? Waiting for the thermostat housing to blow apart and scald him.

wimpy, I remember our conversation. lol. So you would not suggest replacing with gasgas parts? I can get them for next to nothing. Rekluse is my best option? with Honda plates? No this is not wimpys old bike. Everything he told me has happened in like 5 hrs of riding the bike. So I am hoping that you are right and I will be happy with the bike when all said is done.

If you can get OEM cheap I'd go that route. There are a few different baskets getting around though, so comparing the old and new, and some pics would be great. If going after market I'd hook up a Core Manual for sure. When/if that time comes for me it'll be the way I go.

My bike went back with 40 hrs when the clutch let loose. I have the rekluse outer basket in my 13. Post up some pics so we can take a look.
