Default 2020 Gassers.

Is it too early to start wondering/guessing what's in store for MY '20?
Anyone got any inside info for new models or the business as a whole?
How is GG traveling financially(sales numbers/stability).
Spare parts production upped.
Increased aftermarket/hard parts.

Anyway I'm just bored so thought I'd start a small fire in here!

Still waiting for a damn 200 to be available in Aus!

Would love to see a mid sized (300/350) 4T added to the range.

I have no evidence for this at all but the feeling I get from speaking to dealers in the UK is that the factory is not running at all well and that they fear that it may all go pear shaped again.

UK sales are well below expectation and spares are getting more and more eratic in delivery from Spain. Weekly deliveries became fortnightly and are now monthly. I was waiting 2 months for a front fender, for instance. This is despite some excellent results from supported riders.

I have yet to see an EC200 in the UK either in a dealer or in the wild. I have a riding buddy who has an EC Ranger in order. He was told 2 weeks delivery but it has been 3 months now. The UK importer is pulling his hair out.

It's simple ,if Gas Gas add counter balancer and inner electric starter like other brands ,they will be on the top .If i remember correctly ,their target was for selling 3000 bikes per year. And i think ,that they sold a lot more from the new models 2018-2019 than older 2012-2017 era .

Certainly, they need to kill that excessive vibration before either KTM sort out TPI or Beta get some proper suspension. If either of those happen 1st, they will be in dire trouble.

Don't ride a '19 Beta then.. Its still Sachs.. But its MUCH better than their '18 and back stuff. Still doesn't shine a light on KYB, but at least I wasn't swearing at the bike on the test ride.

GasGas is making incredible bikes, but they have to pull their crap together or this is gonna end badly. They still have time, but its running out quickly. Everywhere I look I see guys who can't get their hands on bikes that they want to buy.. Rangers are delayed, GP's are delayed, and now the TXT GP was just pulled from the site. People WANT GG bikes.. But they aren't going to wait around forever for them. And they aren't going to be burned twice. TRS and Vertigo are their only real competition in trails bikes right now, and TRS is killin' it out there, Beta and Sherco are growing daily around here, while GasGas people are twiddling their thumbs waiting for bikes that might very well be better.
Is a better bike that never appears really better???

God only knows how much money Beta has wasted polishing the Sachs turds. If they had gone straight to KYB or even Ohlins they would be at the top of the sales list for 2T enduro bikes.

If Sachs were any good in the offroad market, then other brands would be rushing to use them too.

You'd think... But then again WP is somehow worse than Sachs, and look how long it took Sherco to wake up to KYB. I'd ride a freakin Showa fork before a stock set of anything from WhitePower in the last 15 years.

Thankfully a good tuner can fix almost anything, but it's nice to have a bike for once that didn't need extensive work right out of the box. GasGas is killing it on every level of production! Except for actually producing...

I was just talking about this the other day with a friend. The enduro sport is growing rapidly right now, and the economy (at least in the US) is the best it's been in a long time. People are spending money on stuff like new dirt bikes like they haven't done in a long time. It'd be a real shame if GasGas missed out on that opportunity to rebuild themselves.

The bikes are easily in the mix from a technical / performance aspect, and I remember the excitement of 1-2 years ago when the '18s were first announced, and then first delivered. EVERYONE was talking about them, everyone was excited about having a non-orange bike that could compete.

In the last few months, it's really gone downhill. Like has already been stated, delays and cancelled deliveries have really hurt them. Even if it was out of their control, I feel like the 200s not making it here on time really hurt them. They had the opportunity to beat everyone else to the market with a 200 in the US, and they missed it. That is a HUGE market to be had. If / when I ever get rid of my 2011 EC250, I imagine I'll be looking for a smaller/lighter bike than the full-size (re: tall) 250s/300s. And as things sit now, the only option is a Beta.

Either way, I really hope they pull it together. There's been rumors swirling for several months now, and I haven't seen GasGas refute any of them yet, either via statement, or by action proving them wrong.
