Default Awesome gg450

G'day fella's, first post, new to GasGas.

Recently purchased an 05 ec450 and I can't believe how good the thing is!
I've only ridden it about 5 times, but it is easily the best 450 I've ridden.
Today I rode wet single trail with a few mates(wr450, crf250x, 08 models).
Went to a little test track that I like to try other guys bikes on and I've ridden a lot of different bikes on this loop.
But the WR and CRF just feel like top heavy and slow steering sloths compared to the Gasser, the red and blue bikes arnt bad but as a package the Gasser can't be beaten, the harder the conditions the better the Gasser is, mild engine is awesome. Sorry to carry on, just so stoked with the thing.
And in case anyone is wondering I do own 2 other Jap dirt bikes so I'm not anti Jap.

Cheers Jason

I had an 03 gg450. It was a great play bike. It was still a bit big for some of our really tight and technical single track. Just too tiring for hare scrambles. But it was a fun bike. I still miss mine. I bought a left over 08 YZ 450 last summer for mx and was pretty disappointed with it compared to the old GG 450. Less power, poorer handling and slower streering. GasGas just has the handling figured out!

Welcome to the GasGas clan - you'll love the wheels off that 450 for all of the reasons you stated.

Have a look around, and check out the four stroke forum here - helpful information and good guys willing to lend a hand in case you ever need one.
