Default Hi there fellow dirt bikers...

Hi there..
I am new to this forum bought myself a 06 300 EC a few days ago! I am from South Africa been riding/racing there for many years moved to the UK a year ago. Bloody hell what a story back in S.A things were so easy you just buy a dirt bike no registering no license needed and plenty of place to ride no questions asked! But I am willing to do what I have to do to get out in the dirt again!
Any way if there is anyone out there that lives around my area and knows of places to ride that does not require my bike to be taxed etc.. Let me know so we can organise a ride. It Will be nice to hear from you guys and hear were you meet up for rides etc.. I have been riding/racing bikes for about 15 years and now I feel like a noobie again in the UK.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys...
Oh yes here are some pics of my bike...

Hi guys, I have been hanging around this site for ages it's proved very useful. I have a 2005 EC200 and ride Eastern centre and TBEC 379 (not so much this year) I'm based in South Norfolk.

Top tips Spend the money and get your suspension sorted It makes the hugest difference! On older models like mine Marzocchi/ohlins is supposed to be the best! I chose mine over a newer model because of this. Try DrShoxs (Chris Hockey)

13/52 sprocket combination is ace, especially in tighter stuff and 13/48 for open Eastern centre races.(stubble fields)

Hi fellow forumites,

I have been riding gas gas bikes for 4 years now with a break in between going to the dark side of Husaberg 4 stroke.

The first bike I had was a 2004 200ec then a 2006 200ec model, both were great bikes and the Marz/ohlins set up was awesome. I then moved onto the berg and had some very good results for me but I was always going to go back to the 2 strokes so I just got myself an '11 300ec with Marz/ohlins set up all fettled by Perry Leask of HM racing.

To top it off I also got my son a 2006 200ec as we are both going to race the SEEC series this year 2012. I haven't done any green laning but would always be up for a tootle out. I live near Gatwick airport so Dorking is local to me.

Post up a ride out notice if you intend to ride and I will tag along.. unfortunately I do not know any local green lanes though so I would have to be a follower not a leader..
