Checkpoint off-road PV cover...
Well, I ordered a Powervalve cover from Checkpoint Off-road. It showed up in the mail pretty fast (2 weeks - shipped to NB Canada). I was happily surprised to see that it included all 4 longer Allen bolts for mounting it PLUS the drain vent bolt with washer installed. It also came with some nice red, black, and white stickers, which match my 2012 EC300 race model very well .
The quality seems well. Lots more volume in there. Very nice slightly polished billet aluminum. After putting about 2 hours of riding on it, I feel there's no massive improvement in bottom end. However, there is some improvement. Also, better throttle response and it sounds Crisper at lower revs. All in all, I'm very happy with it and I would recommend it. Just don't expect there to be a very noticeable difference. |

Thanks for the review. I've been wanting to try this on my 200. I'll give it a try after I do the head mod.

It'll actually prob be even better on your 200 as the 300 already has loads of bottom end.
