Hi, getting my old bike back into riding shape.
Does anyone know the correct size tires for a '98 EC250? A couple of websites say: Front: 90/90-21 Rear: 120/80-18 What's on the bike now is neither of those sizes other than being 21 and 18. Just trying to get it back as close to stock as I can. Thanks! |

Just curious but why? You can run any size you like as long as it fits. One of my bikes calls for 80/100-21 and 100/100-18 yet I run 90/100-21 and 120/100-18 tires on it. It made a world of difference for me!

Running a 120/100-18 and 100/100-21 on my '98. 13/48 gearing. While a little high for real tight tech, Lots of clutchwork needed. It does the roads and old 2 track roads superb!. Still climbs the rocky crap great too. I tried looking fo stock rear tire and they pretty much dont make that size any more. 100/90 I think it was. Was a small tire.
