2018 XC300 Clutch Piston housing - almost impossible to source

Hi,

I discovered on the weekend that the previous owner of my bike had used a cheap O ring on the piston in the clutch slave cylinder (the housing that attaches to the engine) and it's scratched to sh*t and next to useless.

No problem I thought, I'll just get a new one with part number ME250632026. Outside of Spain and Italy these are impossible to find on the internet and the ones in Spain/Italy do not ship out side of Spain/EU. I'm in New Zealand but do have friends in the UK that I could post things to.

Anyway - it seems that this part is no longer made? How the hell can that be. The Reiju that it's off is brand new and they no longer make the part? I don't get it.

Super frustrating as now I have bike that might as well be a paper weight.

Does anyone know if any other brands cylinder/housing fits the 2018 GG? From what I have found on the internet its the same part for 2009 through to 2019 (for GG) or 2020 onwards for the Reiju.

Or does anyone have a good website that ships internationally?

Did you try motocrosscenter.com ? I would be surprised if they didn't ship to NZ - may be worth asking via email

Update: A supplier in the UK managed to find one deep in their inventory. Phew.

From other posts on here it looks like the plunger has been redesigned to have two o rings rather than a single one like I have. I think I'll upgrade to the double to be safe!

I having bad thoughts about selling the GG and getting a KTM so the parts issue is not a constant headache!

Strange, my 07 has 2 orings. I accidentally typed 3, and considered leaving the mistake for larfs. Everyone loves a Topper.
