Default Exhaust material

Can someone please confirm the standard exhaust on the 2007-2009 250’s are nickel plated steel please, or am I misinformed?
Have a small leak on the exhaust where the frame bracket attaches and was thinking of purchasing a welder to fix myself.

Thank you

My question is can you weld? TIG is a skill that needs to be learned first if you are not familiar with it. Otherwise you may ruin a good pipe.

Have a good friend with a MIG welder.
He’s is a panel beater / sprayer to trade but welding comes with the territory in that line of work.

You can fix it with a MIG welder too.

I thought it would have cracked and failed with the heat expansion and cooling.
But good to know thank you
