Default 2007 GasGas 450 FSR dual sport

Well, it uses the same motor manual as the 2005 according to gofasters. I think the slipper clutch was added for 2007.

My problem was diagnosed by dealer as bad fuel pump. Valves were in spec. New fuel pump on order.

I doubt I'm gonna sell it after I get it fixed as it's the best & favorite bike I have ever owned. This bike made me sell my 2012 Hyper 1100 Evo sp w/ ohlins , that's how good it is. Plus that dang Fisher seat is one of the most comfy moto seats I've ever sat on.

It's one of those bike that you want to share w/ everyone & let them ride it just to see how truly awesome it is.

I got frustrated & put it up for sale because dealer is 1.5hr away & just wanted to get a WR or something because it's easier but this 450 is do damn great when running right I doubt if I'd take $6500 if the fuel pump fixes the issues...it's just set up so amazing, I can't wait to get her back !

Got bike back w/ new fuel pump, fuel lines, cleaned injectors & added screw in handlebar inserts from bestdualsportbikes. Valves were also checked. & in spec.

Just rode it 80 miles 1/4 gravel & it did great.

Not sure if I'm gonna sell it. Someone would have to make me a very good offer. But the bike is definitely worth it.

Just to keep thread updated here are pics & 24 hr cold start video from today after new fuel pump, fuel line, cleaned injectors, bar ends.

Still not sure I'm gonna sell it now, but maybe it's just what someone is looking for. The price would have to come in over $5,000 I think w/ all it has and recent work. Open to conversations about it.

No longer for sale, it's too good a bike to let go.

Default 2007 GasGas 450 FSR dual sport

Here it is w/ Zumo 550, Doubletake mirrors ($100) and bestdualsportbikes threaded vibration inserts ($115)

I paid $4,500 for this bike at beginning of year. Since then I have added the following:

Fuel pump $500, Zumo 550, bars, grips, tires, battery, Doubletake mirrors, vibration inserts, Wolfman tank bag, 14/47 gearing (easily cruises 55-60mph w/ very minimal vibration...especially 50-55mph is rock solid even w/ knobbies & bags loaded.

Anyone care to make me an offer ? It runs great after fuel pump got replaced. It is amazingly comfortable, Fisher seat is so good ! I just have new bike fever. I might consider selling it with all bags, tool boxes, luggage rack, bar inserts, fender rack, GPS etc removed. FYI the dash is not 100%, the fuel light has always flashed since larger tank was installed by previous owner & I can't get the rpm tach shift to turn off & Odometer has always seemed off. Speedo, trip & tach work.

I go back & forth about selling it. I can be impulsive about my bikes. Anyone wanna make me am offer I can't refuse? I have well over $5,000 in it. My orig cost was $4,500. Willing to listen.

Since I bought this bike I have yet to see another one set up even close to how good this one is for dual sporting.

After typing all this I think I should just strip the bike down & sell it or trade it in. I sure hate to just give away all the awesome dual sport accessories on it. Also has extra plastics, bars bark busters etc.

Don't wait for the WR450R that will never be built, the bike you want is right here. Edit - I don't know why I can't use paragraphs , it just jumbles it together, maybe because it's from my iphone, sorry for ugly format.

Yes. I will care. Just know, this is the dirt bike world. Not classic car. I usually see around 40 to 60 cents on the dollar in this world.
