250F for 2012?

Whats the fate of the 250F? New frame like 2-strokes? Old frame? Forks? Gone from lineup? Curious, thanks.

GasGas announced that they were racing a 250F and a 450F in the WEC series next year.
I heard the Yamaha engine source has "dried" up, so no telling what motor they will use.
GasGas supposedly is supplying BETA with 2 stroke motors next year. Maybe a BETA 4 stroke powerd GasGas is in the works.

I was told that Yamaha finally agreed to sell GG current 250 and 450 engines but that the price was going up substantially. The 250 and 450 F will get the new frame but I doubt we will bring either of them in. 250F sales have been pretty slow for us.

GG should get their hands on the Sherco 250/300 FI motor. Very compact and light motor and 6 speeds. Parts are a whole nother ball game though compared to a Yammi motor. Still the Sherco motor really is sweet as are the bikes.
