Default O-rings.

OK, I ordered new o-rings from GoFasters for my head (EC300).

The outer ring fits perfectly but there isn't a ghost's chance for the inner one. It is too small. The part number they said they sent me seems to be correct (ME30916065). What's up?

I had the same problem when I did my squish mod. I just used the old one with no problems.

Little bit of heat (hair dryer) and some grease? I think I remember KTM guys talking about this, that they have to give them a good stretch to fit.

You shouldn't have to go crazy to get it to fit. It should stay in the groove with a light stretch and a coating of grease. My guess is you got the o-ring for a 250. I've seen this before, where a dealer had a bag of o-rings for a 200 with the 250 part #.

Maybe with a propane torch. It isn't going to happen with heat.

A human mistake...the wrong "o"ring was stuffed in the right bag. Same thing happended to me on my last topend. A simple phone call and the problem was cleared up!

Not to highjack your post, Speaking of Go-Fasters, I ordered some really off the wall parts last week, brake pedal bushing, silent block for the chain guide, a rubber plug for the bottom of my swingarm, lower shock bearing, "o"rings, and washers and a few other items.......ALL IN STOCK...received all parts on Friday!!!!! Enough Said!!
