Question Latest and greatest front tire?

I need a front tire and what I have now (Scorpion Pro) is not available anymore. Between my time off and what I had on hand I havn't bought a tire in awhile. Rocks/mud primarily and passable in sand. Thinking of trying a Dunlop Geomax 31.

I think the pirelli mx mid soft is suppose to be kind of a replacement for the pro isn't it?? The mx hard is suppose to be a replacement for the mt 18. guys seems to like the geomax 51 for the the rear .... I've heard good and bad about the 31 on the front. I'm tempted to give them a try front and back next time i need some tires.

The Geomax's are very soft.
Against my better judgement, I tried the Dunlop. From now on I will stick with the MAXXIS.

I would try the MAXXIS radial front knobby.

Just ordered a Maxxis SI, we'll see how it sticks and holds up to rocks here.

the S12 and S12XC are the same knob design, the XC used a slightly different rubber, supposed to last longer or something.

Depending on how hard it is to find, the Metzeler extreme sixdays front has me impressed so far, lasted a long time on dads ktm aswell.

but in saying that, iv never seen MAXXIS tyres here in NZ...
