The Montesa name is no more, Honda are selling them as Hondas now. Pros and cons for four strokes, they do have advantages in trials for things like very slow speed throttle control, but I think it's mostly the honda obsession with four stroke everything regardless of what the customer wants. The 4rt is popular in the UK and sell very well. Heavier than the euro made bikes, but you can tell from the look and feel of the honda that they will still be going strong in 15 years time, which might not be the case for the lighter machines. But there again, the same was true for the two stroke 315, my own is 14 years old now and still trialled several times a month. On a cost basis, I think I'll rather stick with the carb and new rings every few years instead of maintaining fuel injection and four stroke top ends though.
