Default ohlins forks question

are the ohlins forks and triple trees from the sm the same as on the ec/xc/de etc? or are the triple tree on the supermoto wider/different axle/less travel/etc?

Fork travel for sure. I doubt there would be a special clamp for the SMs considering the small production #s.

Next question is are the Ohlins forks on the SM just a travel limited version of the EC Ohlins with the same components or different? I suspect the prior.

We can check the part#s.

I would check to make sure you are apples to apples in terms of forks. The various bikes got various (46 or 48mm) forks. My MC and EC had totally different setups (both 2003 bikes with Ohlins packages). The code is on the bottom of the fork legs.
