Haha...we have a saying in Australia - "If it's too loud, you're too old!"

Rejetted the 300 to a 175 main, 42 pilot and running a NC3J needle on the 3rd clip, bit smokey, may go to 2nd clip. This bike no longer has a mid range, it will chug down low then staight onto the pipe. I can still lug down close to stalling, but in the right gear it will just go straight onto the pipe with a twist and then keep revving way past where the Q Stealth would need a gear change. Couldn't be happier with the setup, makes the bike very aggressive but predictable, and NO SPOOGE. Next step : squish adjustment. |

Me too actually. I happen to run Amsoil at the present but am willing to try new things based on others' positive experience.

Yes. This is all good info.
I myself am a big fan of LeoVince X3 both on performance and size!!! Currently I am using Motul 800 at 50:1. Plus I buy only Ethanol Free gas at highest octane for my bike / lawnmower / saws.....etc. Some of the Gas out there these days is horrible. Here is a website to find Pure Gas in your area or the closest to you. http://pure-gas.org/

I bought a gallon of Aimsoil Interceptor to try out. I am going to run it on our trip in both bikes. I will let you know how it turns out.

I've been running the interceptor in our two strokes and like it pretty well. I definitely get less spooge on my Gas Gas as a non-aggressive woods rider. When i read about the dominator, it sounded like it was for more aggressive riders that do more frequent rebuilds. I don't like that it's not tinted red, though...I'm kind of forgetful sometimes. I am hardly an oil expert, though.

I'm a big fan of the Amsoil Dominator, and the GRO. Lots of variables at play from jetting to riding style to flash points, fuels, and so on. Personally I've not had any spooge while using the Dominator. I get an oily ring around the back of the pipe and thats it. Quite like the raspy bark of the TC too. The Q Stealth looks like it belongs on a 4 stroke, but I'm sure works just as well as anything else out there. |
