Arrow Oil in front studs

My two forward studs[exhaust] cylinder had oil or somethig in there.I removed them ,wich they came out with no effort, cleaned and loctited them. What do you think?BTW the rear studs were very firm so I did not force them out.

One of mine rear studs leaked for awhile. I slathered it with the gasket sealer I used on the topend recently no more leaky leaky.
