Default KYB forks what weight springs are you using?

On your KYB conversion what do you weigh and what springs are you using? I'm 195lbs naked and have .46 springs in my forks now. I have thoughts of trying a set of .44 springs. I'm just curious to see what others are using.

Default

Not a GasGas conversion.....I am using .48 on my 2005 YZ125 KYB forks. I am also 195-197lbs, being a fast "B" SSR. I also have oversized tank 3.2 gallon tank on my 125. I had .44 when I bought the bike. I tried them, but was bottoming, so I bumped them to .48. I ride standing up most of the time, my style is more over the bars.

The YZ is much lighter than a GasGas, my valving has been softened up for more offroad, vise moto.

Hope that helps.

Default fork update

I ended up making some set up changes to my 08' KYB's. I hadn't been using the full stroke with the clickers set pretty soft so I went from .46 to .44 springs and from 325cc to 310cc oil level. If this is too soft I'll add some oil back in or one of the old .46 springs. We still have a lot of snow & ice here so it'll be a while till I can try it out.
