Default Ignition curve switch wiring - Dual Mapping

When I bought my 2007 EC300 the dual mapping selection switch was busted up. I replaced it today, but when I went to do the "plug and play" under the seat I found that the old switch was not plugged in...

Both the old and new switch come with a black and a green, but the only "open" wires that I have are black and orange.

Would someone please look at how their dual map is connected and let me know?

In the picture below you can see the connections that I have "open" and the black and green of the new switch off to the right...HELP!

...After reading some other threads I am a little more confused. It looks like the two free wires are for the tail light. So where does the mapping switch plug in?

If the orange and black are coming directly out of your ECU then those are the ones. If your new switch is green and black then just plug it in an you should be all set. All your doing is either opening or closing the loop to access the different maps.

But that's just what I would do. Maybe you want to wait for other replies.

Just put the switch on both of mine, and it is the orange&black wire to be conected to the switch, and the wires from the switch..,Yes they are Black and green..
Just plug and play..

If nothing is plugged in, what is the default? If I have been riding around in mild I am not sure that I need WILD!

If the "loop" is broken it is on "Rainy" mode, put the orange and black together and you have Full power.

Angry I need Wild - can't believe I left it so long on Mild !!

WOW - that's great news - when I bought my 06 EC300 the guy said he took it off as it wasn't working properly ... but left the wires plugged in at the ECU ... with the far end just left open.

I'm going out to the garage now to connect the two ends of the Gn/Black wires together !!!!!!!!!!!!!
