I have just installed a Rekluse core exp2.0 and the only Gasgas part to be reused was some of the fibre plates. The Rekluse stuff is looks fantastic and is so well machined it seems a shame to cover it up!

I cant really tell you more at the moment as I have only tried to set it up on a MX track. I think it's set but I will be able to say more after the weekend when I go to an enduro practice track.

Default Rekluse basket

I eventually went with a the rekluse basket on my gasgas. It solved all the noise issues and odd engagement feel. I would go with it over other choices as the rekluse has designed and machined it to go with the core exp. worthwhile upgrade IMO.

The Rekluse seems the way to go.....

Thanks for everyone's input! I just bought a Rekluse Basket from Appalachian Offroad, their staff are real nice people!

Default OEM Clutch Baskets come in 40MM and 46MM

Here is an update. I received my Rekluse Clutch Basket today. I also received a set of steel Rekluse plates that will allow me to use the Honda fiber plates. I will try to post some photos later. I had already removed the stock clutch including the oem GG basket. I drilled out the rivets holding the ring gear to the OEM basket. Then, big problem, the Rekluse basket hole for the gg ring gear was too small. The Rekluse Basket hole measures about 40MM while the oem basket hole is about 46MM. I called Rekluse and they are going to machine a new basket and send it to me tomorrow. So, before you order a basket make sure whether you have the 40MM or 46MM basket in your bike. At Motocross Center they require this measurement before they ship your basket, but I hadn't seen any posts about it here on the forum. Has anyone else had this problem?

Here is my GG Basket, notice how the ring gear inserts into the basket.

My bike probably has 75 plus hours give or take. The GG basket didn't look bad at all. The fibers and steels were almost at the end of their service limit, but they didn't look too bad. There were marks but the surface was still smooth.

Here is a front shot of the Rekluse Basket and back shot of the GG basket with the ring gear.

The rivets were easy to drill out, just drill of the top, then pop the rivet off with a small chisel.

In this photo, you can see that over 1/2 of the ring gear won't pass through the hole in the basket.
