Thumbs up Christini AWD

The new Christini AWD bikes are using the 2015 GG 250/300 motors.

Looks cool.

Default Airbox

Looks like they may have addressed the issue of air box access and it looks as though it is accessed through the left hand side.

They were supposed to bring Wally Palmer (sp.) to ride one at the roof of Africa this year - I think he has the craziness to do well there - guess it fell through

The guys that did enter didn't do well. Think there was an injury and the other two were looking at just finishing as the best outcome

They do look cool though and are what you would expect the military to ride in a deisel powered version possibly a solar hybrid

They have been using gas gas motors for a while now haven't they?
I've always wanted one, but could never quite justify the cost.
I could never get a straight answer on what exactly the frame and 4 stroke motor are based off. It looks like a late 2000's Honda CRF-X frame and Honda unicam (looking) motor. But I don't think they are Honda engines.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When I first noticed the Christini bikes a few years back, I was tempted to buy one. I even found an importer letting some 300's go for a really good deal. I backed out, but it was my single biggest exposure to modern GG enduro bikes.
Skip forward a few more years of woods modding my CR250, and I had to have a Gasser. Thanks Christini!

Single biggest reason I decided against the Christini was the tiny fuel tank. I can't remember numbers but it seems they many have increased its size now? (8.7L) Of course I was running around with the biggest Clarke on my CR... like 15L or close to that somewhere.

The tanks are still small. At the roof they were running with header tanks on the front number boards
