Boomhauer gets bumped to "B" class
After a long Texas State Championship Enduro season, Boomhauer pulled off a 1st place in the Open C class.
Boomhauer now gets to ride the long course B class. Good job Robby! |

Round these parts we'd call him "sandbagger."
"Dirty, rotten sandbagger" to be exact. Rick Certified AMRA C-minus rider |

Thanks guys! And a big thanks to Girard for helping me fine tune my riding skills. I will have to step it up some more in order to go the distance.
How do you long course guys keep from getting monkey butt? I have the EVS Tampon padded shorts and dump a heck of a lot of that monkey butt powder down there also but I still get rashed up. I heard from a friend to rub some vasoline between the crack but that seems weird to me.

Two solutions:
1. (preferred) Stand up! Can't get monkey butt if you aren't sitting down. 2. Grease up. This is a must for long rides (ie. The ISDE). For long races like WEC and the ISDE, if you don't grease up you're going to pay for it in one very sore rear end! |

"Butt Butter" or something like that. I never saw it for sale anywhere but I never really looked online either. Its like a really thick diaper rash cream. Vasoline works OK. If the gas stop is back at the start, and the race is rough, I'll re-grease then too. Good suspension helps too, my buddy on a KTM300 was in pain after a tough rock run last month where I had no MB issues, even with the '07s seat.
The standing up thing is good in theory, but in practice it doesn't always work that way. Whoops yes, its a no brainer. When it gets really technical, and its "get through any way you can", textbook style goes out the window, especially for us Senior B riders. If your not tall you have to sit to get a foot down when needed in some of the rock gardens and other fun places. |

I guess I will be "Lubing" the rear end up next season.
