Drop the pipe off what can you see looking at the piston from the exhaust port?

kick start gear given in? Not uncommon. Pop the clutch side cover off (the big 1 not just the clutch cover) and have a sniff around, may have got a tooth stuck.

I would say you rod is seized to the crank.
Looks like a major lack of lubrication, exhaust port is very dry.

Hmm it did feel very dry in there i always mixed just over the the going rate that i was told to do.

I would say you rod is seized to the crank? if that is correct what does this mean? very expensive bill? what would i need?

Thanks.

Why does the inside of the port look like its covered in dirt just like the outside. Looks strange to me, but the small section of piston does not appear damaged.

W8YSON,

In the future please post in a single, applicable forum, thanks.

Who was the last person to add fuel to the tank? We see problems such as this all the time. Somebody borrows a bike and somehow gas (not premixed) is added from the wrong container and ... there you go.

If it's the rod that means a complete disassembly and repair. To pay a shop to do the complete job is probably in the $1200-1600 range depending on how extensive the damage is.
