Watching that movie at about age 10 was probably what made me want to get a dirt bike and go racing.

I recently watched 'Dust to Glory' a film made by Dana, Bruce Brown's son. Being more used to muddy hillsides, the speed and scale of Baja looks awesome from a UK perspective.

I love seeing how it was done back in the late 60s early 70s... I don't care for all the ear rings tatoos and sideways hats of the mainstream riders today... maybe its my age but to much bling not enough substance...

I even don't mind "The Great Escape" just to watch Steve doing his own stunts.

Awesome rider in his time.

Steve was a great rider but it was Bud Ekins that did the stunts in the movie.

That's why I really don't care for supercross that much.

Off road riders have a lot more "substance".
At an enduro, I can walk up to any rider and have a conversation.
