Default Jeff Fredette ISDE helmet cam video

Hey everybody,

Here's a real time helmet cam video we made during last years ISDE with Jeff Fredette.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVl6grp3Sww

He wore the helmet cam during his end of the day 15 minute work period.

Jay Hall, of Hall's GasGas, is the Parc Ferme manager and can be seen with the GasGas t-shirt on.

It about 13 minutes long and gives an ISDE rider's eye view of what the 15 minute end of the day routine is like.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVl6grp3Sww

Hope you enjoy it.

Nice! Wish I could change a tire that fast.

That is a cool clip. I like how they change back and forth between cameras. I remember watching a friend Charlie Kouba practice changing tires before he went to the ISDE in France back in the late 80's. I like to think that I am fast at it to but I'm lucky to do one in 30 mim with no pinch flates. Speedy is right all it takes is practice.

Well, practice and ditching tubes. Doing quick tire changes with tubes is a lesson in frustration, IMHO. I use tire balls and found they great reduced my tire change time. No pinch flats!

I have not gotten that high tech. I also use triales tires. Do they make tire balls for triales tires? How long do they last?

Not sure on if they work with trials tires. You can easily get multiple seasons out of the balls. I just got mine in August so I haven't been able to do any long term testing, but so far they've been great.

I have a good friend who is a tire balls dealer, if anyone is interested. He is a racer and ex-cop who had to leave the force after being hit by a drunk driver. He is still unable to race at this point, and has set up a racing support shop in the meantime. PM or email for details.
