Default Lectron Carburetor Testing & Adjustment

The first link shows me adjusting the metering rod. It's not the best quality since it was a spur of the moment decision and I shot it with my helmet cam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDI5G...ature=youtu.be

This link is of a test ride after making an adjustment to the metering rod. I think it is a tad rich, and I plan to put it back to the same setting that it came from the factory with. I still haven't touched the powerjet setting. For some reason the entire video didn't load, but it's good enough to get a feel for how the bike was running. I should of had the idle up a little higher. After adjusting it I never killed the bike again.

Sounds grunty and linear, more like a 300 than a 250 thats a little more hit/rev. I like that, not giving up anything for smoothness.

Thanks for the feedback. That's just the kind of power that I like, but for someone who likes an MX type hit it may not be for them.

I think that it will be perfect with my light 2K-2 ignition. Quick reving but still smooth.

Another nice thing is you can easily make it richer to soften it even more if its a slop fest.

Good point. I also had the map switch in sun mode, so it may be even smoother in the rain mode. I never felt the urge to switch it, and kind of forgot all about the dual map switch.

It may seem minor, but I still think it's worth mentioning that my fuel was 2 months old. I had to take 5 weeks off of riding, and I know it was between 2 - 4 weeks prior to that since I bought gas for it. I know on my 2009 KTM 250xcw that new fuel made a significant difference in performance.
