Thumbs down No FMF silencers for '12/'13

Like it says, FMF got back to me and stated there are no plans to produce anything but the OEM Stealth for the new gen GasGas. Bummer for us looking for a simple cheap silencer.

I've been happy with Scalvini silencer. it's light, simple, quiet and att fits to oem pipe too.

Gas Gas EC 300 Factory Racing 2012
- Ohlins TTX both front and rear
- Rekluse Core EXP 2.0 + Rekluse clutch basket
- Scalvini full exhaust system
- S3 Head
- Trusty adjustable PV cover

That was ultimate setup for me...
Now trying something else for a while...

I just hate the thing, always did. Two big, heavy, spooge trap, and a big lever on the subframe in a crash. I don't do many enduros anymore, mostly harescrambles, so I don't need it anyway. Is the Scalvini available in the US? Sounds like what I want, like the Messico on my '07.

The basic aluminum Scalvini is 120 Euro on the factory site. I can't do facebook here at work so don't know what the US guy wants for it. Thats in range though, just want something basic and cheap. The LV is more$$ and I don't need a spark arrestor, especially a screen type.

You can take the spark arrester out of the LV if that makes a difference, only an Allen key needed, infact it comes as standard with it not fitted.

Yeah I know, but the point is I'd be paying for an option I don't want or need.

Have you checked with Mark @ GoFaster ? He had some Scalvini pipes in stock, might have the silencer too
