It's a good way to go. I like the 12/48.

I just bought a new one on eBay for $16 shipped. Here is another one for $18 shipped. It's the pro x brand (wiseco) and it looks like it is very high quality.

I'll be using it in Moab next week and again in Idaho in June. Can't wait!

I run the 12/48 too, I like it. Btw, does anyone have crossover info on the front countershaft sprocket? I know the rear sprocket from late model huskys, Dr350s and se, and Dr 400s fit but I haven't found much on a front crossover.

I hope you got the right sprocket -please post back to confirm that it fits. I am suspicious because the picture in your ebay link looks wrong. GasGas uses two different front sprockets (each available in different sizes) FOR THEIR ENDURO BIKES. One fits all GasGas made motors(2&4 stroke) 200cc -515cc. The other fits the 125cc 2stroke motor and apparently the Yamaha made 250&300 4strokes that GasGas now uses. The 250/300 2stroke front sprockets are much thicker in the middle - that's why the picture looks wrong to me. To check my suspicions I searched the web for a Pro X fitment guide and this is what I came up with:http://www.petescycle.com/pro-x-groo...uctid=20793299
The GasGas entries are roughly 2/3 way down the page.

Good Catch, I verified the part number when I ordered mine, but when I looked for another sprocket on eBay to post the link, I didn't take the time to verify the part number. I will remember to verify the part number if I ever post a link for someone.

The manufacture part number for the Pro X (Wiseco) Front Sprocket for the EC200/250/300/450 is:

07.FD73000-12 (12 Tooth)
07.FD73000-13 (13 Tooth)

And it looks like eBay only has 13 tooth sprockets available now. Sorry to get your hopes up. Here is a link to the eBay listing for the 13 tooth sprocket from the same seller that I bought my 12 tooth one from. You may contact them, and they might have some more 12 tooth sprockets available.

Some pictures of the packaging and sprocket itself are attached.

This is a link to the AFAM catalog which lists all makes and models. Gassers are unique, the GG front countershaft afam number is 94313-12. All the gassers two strokes from 200 up seem to use the same sprocket.

I'm glad you got the right one. Ebay can sometimes be misleading.
