Yes, I was waiting for the correct ones (received 250 instead of 300) but this was quickly rectified. I haven't taken any photos yet with these on, but it looks great!!

The headlight stickers are the worst to fit given the shape, side panels were easy.

My only disappointment is that a few of sticker edges are lifting a bit where they go over panel bends, not too bad but of course will get worse as water/mud get in there.

Same here, same with stock 2009 plastics and now 2011 Cervantes set.
I just drill holes some corners and egdes where proplem with sticker and rivet it. black, red and white rivets at least are available.
Meybe superglue help also, must do when plastics or stickers are new...later is too late..

Bringing this back to the top.
I'm interested in updating my 99 EC 300
The mototcross center says you must change the tank

http://www.motocrosscenter.com/ecomm...oducts_id=2899

However it doesn't say what year to change the tank to

I would like to buy a oversized Clarke tank for the extra range. Those are available for years 2000-2006 and 2007-2010.

I'm assuming I would use the 2000-2006 fuel tank but you know what they say about assuming.

So what say you collective brain trust???

Whatever tank you find make sure it has the recess in the rear bottom of the tank for the upper shock mount. OE GG tanks would be 00'-02' that would fit with also the correct cylinder head (2000 and newer) and coil remount.

Hi guys, my 2010 was starting to look a bit tatty so this isn't exactly 'newer plastic on older gasgas' more of a freshen up with new standard black plastics and custom graphics. Unfortunately I'm not getting any sponsorship money from Rockstar but I thought the logos tied in well with the yellow number boards.

Good looking bike!

This is my 06 EC200 with '11 plastics and "2012 Carrera" stickers.
The yellow front fender looks somewhat misplaced, but it was the best could do at the time. The plan is to replace it with a red one in due time, but making the '11 fender fit the KYB triple clamps was more than I was able to handle the day I had to finish the bike for the next race.

The bike also has KYB forks off a 08 YZ250F, a Scott steering damper and a 38mm Lectron.

To boardrider247:
To add to the excellent advice above; If you look for aftermarket tanks in the US that are compatible with your project, look at the IMS tank that was made for the 2000-2002 bikes. It is perfect for the job. It was not updated when the top shock mount was moved in the 2003 models. (The Clark tank that came out in 2003/4 was designed to fit the change. I'm not sure who is offering what for the newer models.)

I love my 2011.
The only thing I don't like about the whole bike is how the radiator shrouds feel against my knee pads when I hug the tank with them on downhills. The older bikes were easier to grip with the knees, at least the way I do it.
The shrouds on the 2011 are smaller and that one main "rib" feels in the way as it pushes against my knee guards. (I wear inexpensive EVS knee/shin guards.) Has anyone else ever mentioned this?
