Default jetting info / new member

Hello new member and GG owner here. just bought a fairly low hour 2017 ec300 e-start from geoff aaron. need to go ride it first but was checking the jetting database and my question is what year bikes can I cross reference to the 2017 ec300 for jetting? I race District 37 desert and some grand prix. I'm in southern California and ride sea level to about 3500 ft in the high desert. about 50 degrees to 85. any recommendations? Any other info pertaining to the 2017 model would be greatly appreciated (suspension settings, powervalve settings etc) Also any chance at getting this Calif. street plated? i haven't got the MSO from geoff yet but wondering if it says off highway only. Thanks

Welcome, nice score, what jetting is in the bike currently? What don't you like about the Jetting.? Coming from Mr Aaron it should need nothing.

Thanks for the reply. So the float bowl says it has a 40 and 168 (assuming pilot and main jet) but I could be wrong. no clue what needle it has. was hoping someone had a magic combination that just works well for the 2017 ec300. Finally got a chance to ride it and it seems to bog off the bottom end a bit but it runs ok. I like the bike though I just need to spend time setting it up for me. Geoff didn't own this bike personally. It was a leftover at C&D cycles in San diego area and gas gas had him sell it off. he never rode this bike or set it up. It has an FMF gnarly pipe and powercore 2 silencer not sure if the pipe was stock.

Pipe and silencer are not stock. Need to know what needle your running, off the top try the N3CH or one of the JD needles

N3CH on 3rd clip, 42pilot, and 175 main works great and is used by lots of folks. You may have to fine tune the main by going up or down a size or two.
