Default 2006 300ec sixdays

Hello
I have a 300ec that pulls like a beast up to midrange than it cuts off like ign. is turned off. Sometimes it will rev up to top in 3 gear or higher but 1 and second there is no chance to get the kick PV is checked and working fine past owner has cut and messed up wiring a lot so question is are there any timing advance from ecu or something else wirestuff that can couse this issue havent checked carb yet as it starts very easy and as i said pulles like a monster to mid range

Start with easy stuff first. Check your plug gap. If it is too wide it will not work well at high rpms. What does your spark plug look like?

Hei!
Welcome to the list!
There is no external timing advance signals. The ignition wiring is quite simple. From the stator there are wires carrying power to the CDI and a pair from the pickup. Then one single wire from CDI to coil.
There is a wiring diagram in the manual.

https://gasgas.com/en/manuals?c=enduro&y=2006

However, there are a couple of points I would check:
1. Do you have a map switch? If not, do you have the map switch wires from the CDI connected together? These are the only two short wires with bullet connectors from the CDI.
2. How is your coil's earth connection? The frames tend to rust at the bare metal points where the coil is mounted on the frame. Remove the coil and check that the connection is good.

I think 2006/2007 was the first year for the CDI MAP switch. Although they can be retrofitted to earlier bikes too.

What jetting is in the carb? That main jet could be too large depending on your needle taper.

I agree that main jet sounds large. If it is too rich the bike will not run at WOT. Additionally rich jetting will make the plug black too.

and before you do anything with jetting you should check the float height since it can make all jetting rich if the float is too high and lean if it is to low.
