I had already gotten a new throttle cable from LTR.
The stock cable is very short.

Yep did the same.

I installed the 200 cam and rode this past weekend with it.

The bike responded way too slow. I'm used to blipping the throttle to bring the front end up.
Not so. The power never really came on until 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.
I could not blast out of corners like I usually do.

For my riding conditions and style, I'll stick with the 100 cam.
I could see the G2 helping on a 300 in slick conditions.

I just ordered one from GoFasters for my '05fse. My previous post showed my inexperience with FI. In the slow stuff the FI is so quick with response for me that I sometimes get into trouble. The G2 should remedy this. Also, I would imagine a auto clutch would do similar to the G2?

I have a G2 system for a Yamaha YZF or WRF for sale. Brand new in box, it comes with a 50, 300 and 400 cams. Never been used $60.00 plus shipping!

The Motion Pro "CR PRo" #01-0053 is a "slower" throttle than stock,

and bolted right on. Under $20. Some might like it.

Default Exceptional customer service

I'm a very happy G2 user. My 3 year old son recently "lost" the 400X cam I wanted to try, so I ordered a replacement cam (as well as a 300X cam). The cams arrived promptly, but I quickly found that the cams would not work/engage with my first generation tube (the cut-out for the cam on my old tube is ovular/"football" shaped with two offset lobes, while the new gereration cams/tube have only a single lobe).

A call to G2 requesting a Return Authorization Number unexpectedly resulted in a new generation tube and a 200X cam! And to sweeten the pot they shipped it direct to my house in Canada without need to pay duties and/or shipping.

So, a great product from a company with great customer service. Thank you G2 Ergonomics.

Default Happy g2 user

Put on a g2 with slowest cam a few weeks ago on my 300 and cant feel the difference exactly, but its there.Usually I'll lug 2nd through most every tight slow spot because 1st would give me too many oh S#%t moments Like hit a rock throttle twists !oh S#%t! Anyway over the past weeks 1st is alot more user friendly, still chug 2nd alot cause she'll let me!
but i recommend it for tight woods riding

Just installed the G2 w/ #4 cam on my DE300. I absolutely love it!

With my jetting crisp and spot on, the throttle cam helps deliver the power in a very linear manner. It works exactly as advertised and makes my 300 put power to the ground perfectly.

Great product!
