That is the new "Q" model that is available for the newer bikes.

Ya, it is definitely a TC2 just longer than the one on my 07.

So the Q pipe is quieter & noise/emmission compliant. Then is there performance gains with the Turbine core2 pipe? Not that I need more power,it's just sneakier to get any mods on the bike new with one big bill than go back cap in hand to wife later for extra's!

FMF lists 1 TC2 for the 07-10 bikes

Could your 07 have had a TC2 from and pre 07 bike which may be shorter but happened to fit? I doubt FMF would have redesigned the TC2 especially since the Q Stealth is availalbe now and easy to tell by it's huge size.

How about a better pic for us of the TC2 on your bike?
EDIT Looking at the pic of your bike that TC2 does look really long from what I remember. Get us a better pic I'm now curious.

I don't think one has better performance than the other although maybe the big Q Stealth could possibly smooth the power a tad (hense stock on the 300 Nambotin bikes). The Q Stealth is quieter (and I think from a distance this may be more percepible and also more engine noise now being heard) but some have complained of excessive spooging while others have not. This is also true over on KTM Talk where some have loved the Q Stealth and others have had fits with it and gone back to the regular Q (which is not available for the GG) or a TC2

Here's some pics of the two silencers, looks like about 2 1/2" longer:

Well, that is very interesting

Do you notice any sound difference between the two?

My 07 is definitely louder than the new bike, but it needs new exhaust o-rings so its hard to tell for sure.

slightly off topic - but what's the difference between the turbine core and the powercore? i would assume the turbine core has spark arrestor, is quieter, and slightly more restrictive than the powercore? is there noticeable performance gains with the powercore (more top end???) and is the powercore lots louder or just slightly?

Is the silencer on the 07 a TC2 WITH the S/A or is it a Powercore with no S/A? If it's a Powercore that would explain the difference in shorter length.

Powercores are listed on the FMF site up to 06 bikes but maybe they fit 07's as well and that's whats on your bike???
