Thanks. I have a set of Moose hybrid pegs that I haven't installed yet, but I know from looking they are some bit wider. Not sure if they are 57mm wide, but bigger than stock. I'll take that into consideration and probably go with the +15 then. 15mm which is like .6 inches.
Never dealt with Smiths. They give discounts for forum members?

Stock Shifter Length Solution
The shift lever through '10 is ME120336026. The same shifter is listed as an optional part on the 2011s, with the "short gear lever set" ME250036026 offered as standard.
Those of you (on new bikes) that pine for the good old days when men were men and they had big feet may want to order up the longer piece.
