ec 300 E- start weight ?

How much extra weight does the e-start and battery add to a 2011 ec-300?

I thought I heard/read 12 pounds somewhere but I could be wrong!

Change the battery out for a Shorai brand or equivalent and it's at most a 5lb penalty.Totally worth it to me.
It does however make air cleaner changes a little tighter I've noticed.
