Default Retro fit carb

Is it possible to retro fit a carb from a 450 Pampera to a 04 FSE ? I've had enough of the friggin around the EFI has caused me and just want reliablity.

If the engines are in the same state of tune I don't see why not. You may have to do somthing creative with airboxes. Also check there is enough clearance - I assume it's am FCR and they are quite tall. If the engines are in a different state of tune you could have quite a bit of friggin around jetting it.

MotoWest was working on a conversion kit. Don't know if ever saw the light of day.

I'm getting close to giving up on sorting out this EFI problem and thought it could be a viable option, Pampera's sold here ok , so there could be parts around.

What your wanting to do is not rocket science. 39 mm fcr Mikuni and possibly an drz ecm and a manifold to carb boot, incidently all readily available on ebay.
