Default gas gas ec 300 2015 blowing fuses!

Hi guys, problem started last week.

Bike would start first kick, great. It would run great but as soon as I let off throttle it would die and start great again, not a fueling issue. I put it down to electrics, tore everything apart and fixed it by finding my battery was unplugged (to do with ignition key not getting power when I let off the gas??)

Bike ran great. I ride approx 15 minutes, shuts off.

Next day I take a look at it turns out it is blowing the fuse above the black (earth?) wire. I changed it and it lasted another 15-20minutes but after that I've been changing it and it wouldn't last more than a couple of minutes at maximum per fuse.

I can't seem to find information on what exactly this fuse links to (there are 2). I have looked for split wires but can't find anything.

Have you probed to see what sort of voltage is coming out of the regulator?

Newer bikes have a DC powered CDI, so any battery trouble means your bike will not run properly.

Default Fuses

Munch, I had a similar problem that I chased for a year. I disconnected all the un necessary electrics, lights, key etc. problem seemed to go away. I recently re connected everything, problem returned. Turns out when I applied the front brake it shorted out 12 volts to ground and blew the fuse.
Anyway check that out, unplug the brake switches see if it makes a difference.
