Default IMS pegs on 2008 EC300

I got a new pair of IMS pegs for X-mas a put them on today. It seems like they are angle toward the rear of the bike and the left one is angled more then the right. Has any one noticed this. It seem like the pegs should come straight off the mount but sweep toward the rear a bit.

All of my pegs are like that IMS or stock. I think it as how the mounts are welded to the frame.

Well I'm relieved after reading this.

The used 07 I bought has the IMS Pro series pegs and the left one also angles back further than the right one. I was concerned it had taken a good hit but I guess it's totally normal. No worry now.

Ken, I have had them on all 3 of my 300's and they have all been that way.

I thought the same thing and it bothered me until I was informed it was to open up the distances for the controls as Gas Gas bikes can be a bit cramped for guys with large feet.
I love everything about those pegs except they will eat your boot soles up in short order if you are a stand up rider and rarely hit the seat. They are bullet proof and in the very unlikely chance you bend one they do bend back, but it takes a very, very, big frickin hammer.

Thanks for the info.I feel better now. I am one of those guys that lets my self go crazy on things that are not straight. Roscoe do you know if Tahuya is ridable yet. If not I am pulling my suspension of and sending it to Les.

Ken, do your self a favor and pull it off and get it in to Les. However he is very busy right now due to the weather and riding conditions but I'm sure hell get it done for you. He also is back logged from UPS not delivering for the couple of days when the snow storm came through.
The conditions in Belfair are very crappy out there from what I have been told. Trees down, hanging brush, and sloppy wet conditions. Grampy posted in the NW section about Tahuya and said still slushy snow on the trails.
