Default mapper switch or ???????????

is there some kind of gadget i can put on the gasser, for road work, and off road, so i can change the rev's on the bike so the powerband dont kick in on the road, just to get a smoother engine run, { i have seen them for sale for those orange things CALLED KTM,

What year bike do you have? The newer bikes come with this switch built in, and I believe some older models just require adding the switch (the CDI is already wired for it).

Not sure if the 02 CDI's have the hi/lo ignition. I know the 05/06 models have the CDI but no switch, then 07 and newer come with the switch. There's lots of info if you search.

You would need to put in a new ignition and CDI from a 2006 on bike to get it. The 2005 and older did not have 2 mapped ignitions.
