Default Ignition system

Help, my PVL stator is shot, out of spec anyway and I have no spark and I need a either a compatible PVL stator to replace the 1061 series that died or a complete system.
Anybody that has any input on what will work or has one that will work?will be taken under advisement and greatly appreciated.
I remember reading that some KTM ignitions will fit, is this true?
My bike is a 99 EC 300 and I love the bike and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.

Do you have the 2K2 or 2K3? I have a 2K2 stator on my wifes 97' from a KTM200. It's simple, just need to put the stator on the GasGas backing plate, solder the wires and you should be back in business. I'm sure the 2K3 will fit also. They seem to be an off-the shelf item.

You didn't get the part about having a PVL internal rotor ignition, not a stock ignition.
I would like to put together an extra system for a back up,but I would need a complete system including a rotor but it may take a while to buy the parts individually.
