Default 2012/2013 Zoke/Ohlins Stock Suspension Setting

Well I tried to find this with a search but came up empty. The CD that came with the bike only list the sachs setting. I need the base line for the 48 CC Zoke and Ohlins. Comp/Rebound. Help please.

I write down the baseline all of the tunable settings on the bikes I build.

From a 2012 300 Marzocchi 48/Ohlins combo
* f reb 15; f comp 18; PFP 1 in
* r reb 25; r comp 16

From a 2013 300e Marzocchi 48 / Ohlins combo
* f reb 19; f comp 20; PFP 1/8 in
* r reb 18; r comp 14

These are only baselines, and you'll likely find yourself dialing a lot more control, particularly rebound.

jay. what is your weight and riding level ? and i am interested in your settings when you find the best possible. i am 200 lbs w gear , i am a A rider and I have tried almost every setting and nothing works good everywhere. I do plan on getting it sprung for my weight and some valving done. but have been too busy riding my new bike to send the suspension out.

Nick, I am a B rider but due to my size I always send out my suspension.
I am 6'5" 265 lbs nothing stock works for me. I plan on calling some shops to see what they know about these bikes.

Am I right in thinking the Ohlins on the 2013 doesn't have seperate hi & lo speed coomp adjustments? Manual is not clear on this as it only shows the Sachs unit?
Cheers

The Ohlins shock changed in 2012, dropping the external hi-speed compression adjuster.

i called W.E.R. and they want $800 and I called fti in N.C. and they priced me out at $650 and i have heard nothing but good things about fti and that cal the owner knows ohlins and zokes and off road riders needs. but got mixed results about wer but opinions are like a!@holes and they wouldn't be in business if they didn't do a good job. if you have other suggestions let me know bc i am not sold on either right now.

I have had good luck with LT Racing for the gasser. They were not mine bikes but friends, the loved what he did. Dicks Racing did the last 3 KTMs that I had and would send him a KTM with no trouble. Not so sure about a gasser. WER did my stuff back in the late 90's, great guy but! I plan to give Les a call and see what he has to say.Steve at AfterHoursCycle is suppose to be good too, will give him a call also. I just have to feel this out and see what they all have to say.

I have 2012 300 and just had forks and shock done by enduro engineering . The forks are really great!!!!! The shock is a lot better but without high and low adjustments its always works better at low or high but never both. Think it's the nature of the shock. EE done a great job on them at a great price
