Default 2009 SACHS Shock Question

Hey guys, I am second guessing my manual for the 2009 EC here. The section regarding the shock high and low speed adjusters, the manual states the high speed adjuster is the small inner screw and the larger outer adjuster ring is the low speed. To me this seems backwards, from KAYABA, SHOWA, and WP shocks. Is the manual wrong in this case? This could cause big headaches when suspension tuning!

I am second guessing the manual because in the engine break-in section, it tells you to add the recommended amount of coolant AFTER 2 heat cycles have been performed. Also in the middle of that somewhere it tells you install parts removed; it never tells you to remove any parts!! Silly Spaniards!!

Thanks Krasi, I didn't see that earlier. That post plus speaking with Mark confirmed my suspicions that the manual was incorrect. The outer ring is definitely the high speed!

Thanks for the link to the post!!

I know this is an old post, but the dang manual got me too! I was breaking my bike in at a sand track and the manual says the outer ring is the low speed. So I went in on it, and the bike felt a little better, but it didn't react like a "low speed damping increase" should have felt.

I'm resetting everything now. At least the Sachs is feeling better with more time on it.
