Not to bash the Husky, but what was not working on the Husky....besides the small tank and bog?

The Husky WR-125 had some Power Valve issue when they first hit the market early last year. Husky never did a recall but did send everyone with a 125 New Power Valves, New Exhaust (complete with stinger) and new engine mounts. The bike was powerless anything under 6000 rpm. I basically parked it till I got the new parts (3 months). Installed the parts went for a rip, although there was still a bog around mid range all was good. The bike had bottom/mid power now. I've never had a small bore bike before. The light weight design made the bike very "Flickable". But I was used to tractor like power. (TXT 280, TE510) I found it very hard to keep the bike running hard. I wasn't use to riding a bike (like I stole it). Always having the bike pinned. They say riding a smaller cc bike will make you a faster rider and it's not a "lazy mans bike. I'm over 50 and my fast days are behind me. It would take a better man then me to make that puppy perform. I wanted a all round good enduro with lots of bottom end, smooth running engine, something that is "Flickable". I've read lots of reviews, loved what I read about the EC 300 so I traded the WR125.

Here's a shot of her still at the bike show the day I brought her home.



Will be a week or two before I can put her back together. And get her dirty.
