What Spark Plugs
What plugs are you guys running?
My bike came with an NGK B8ES plug and I am trying to determine if I should be running something different. Hotter/Colder etc... |

That's what I run. Originally I think I had the BR8ES but I kept burning them out (R=resistor) They have worked well for me for 9yrs.

I always used the BR8-xx series plug.
BR8ES = standard electrode [cheapest] BR8EG = fine electrode BR8EIX = iridium electrode; more intense spark [most expensive] If your jetting was a bit touchy, then the BR8EIX may help provide a better burn. With good jetting, I had no issues running any of these.

Thanks for the reply. I may try that ix plug. Might make it start easier too?
I'm not too worried about the price for one plug. At least its not like on the hemi motor on those dodges.... 16 plugs.... |

It'd be interesting to see if the plug clears up your jetting issue. If you're having jetting issues, the way I cleared mine on my 300 was the squish band mod. Seems that Gas Gas sets the bikes up pretty loose. There's room for improvement there, which makes jetting a breeze.

I will be replacing the Denso plug with a BR8EIX as well.Never had a problem when using iridium plugs.Never used a Denso before, not even sure I could get a replacement here? How do they stack up regarding quality/reputation compared to a NGK?
