I operate this way: personal and vehicle integrity check - kick start bike at start of day and after lunch. Warm bike up then use e start the rest of time to save energy and enjoy the ride more.

going up some steep rock infested hill and you stall it, it's all you can do just to hold the bike up let alone kick start it, it's so good to hit that magic button and continue on your way

E-start is a luxury, a luxury I happen to really like. Do you tough guys really need 12-13 inches of suspension travel? No you do not, perhaps you guys can prove how tough you are by riding vintage bikes with 3 inches of travel.

i couldnt care less either way if theres a button, each to their own,but there HAS to be a kicker as well on any bike i will own.As for getting crossed up and not bein able to kick, that usually happens when you cant plant your left foot anywhere.in this situation get off the right side and roll the kicker with your left foot, often you only need to roll it through halfway.in very rare situations there is no room to open up the kicker(ie jammed in a ditch)
the correct method here is not to cry for an e start, but just admit you f#*ked up and muscle it out!

Question Spark arrestor

Can't wait to pick up my '15 300 from the freight terminal in El Paso on Tuesday!! Thanks Bill...

Can't help but wonder why it doesn't come with a stock silencer that has a spark arrestor? I would think most of us won't be riding on closed course motocross tracks with this type of bike, but most likely BLM, USFS, or other state OHV areas. So what am I missing?

I guess I just need to get ready to do a little mod to the "baby" before she sees dirt

Thanks,
