to me, weight is really an issue. The only real one I see.

They had around a 6 minute review of each bike. The GG KTM and Beta. Same riders on the same tracks, with loads of slow motion footage.

With the sound off it was clear to see what was happening between each bike in each section that they had recorded. The beta was clearly undersprung in the rear, the gasser showed the front end rebounding too fast after deep compression, and using a bit too much stroke over all. The ktm just looked skittish in comparison.

Turning the sound on it was "The gas gas was heavy, too heavy, heavier than the ktm, and the beta too. The heaviest ever. The engine wouldn't rev like the ktm, and the electric starter looks like an oil tank". Beta bike of the year, but not their pick. Not has good as the ktm. Bit unbalanced, etc. The ktm was all praise, but if they had to do anything they'd add a steering damper as the front end was a bit skittish, and it wouldn't steer in corners like the 4 stroke would".

Absolute garbage! No wonder they pulled them down. The 3 blokes were sitting around on stools while making comments. All 3 journos showed the enthusiasm of a 52 cone a day stoner.

Really I think they have just made them private. If you buy the mag for your tablet I'd imagine it would have access to the extra material.

Bike too heavy? BS. Good thing for Honda that Scott Summers never had a problem with a heavy bike.

I've watched all 3 with no sound.. Very interesting watching the chasis behaviour between them, and I'm even more interested to see if what they say is anything like what I see
Links Restored. Watch it with the sound off and form your own opinion!

I gave up being a reader of dirt rag years ago because it would anger me during my 'throne time'. no one likes an angry king yelling at no one.
I do find the new articles, comparisons, attempts at humor and biases much more enjoyable because I don't waste my time reading them. I do miss the best part of dirt rag which was the ads though.
I also see the few lbs. which ever way it goes nearly meaningless. it comes down to the 'package' and how that works for you.
my advice is don't get so twisted about the dirt rag. like my mom used to say "only a fool argues with an idiot"
its still fun having a rider of a tricked out ktm with this and that switch up rides for a bit. its fun to see their faces as they realize the extras and super tuned power valve really aren't what makes a package good.
its one of the few pleasures I have in life left to still enjoy.
please don't take that way from me.
thanks
