Default Smashed Calcaneus

I was riding up a small hill climb in 2nd gear and did a small jump over an erosion mound, lost my balance and landed with all my weight on my heel bone.

The outcome, smashed it into 7 pieces and had to get it screwed/plated back together. It's hard to fathom the damage I did to my foot from such a simple off. Ride safe people

Holy crap! What kind of boots were you wearing? Did the bike land on you? Good luck and heal fast.
