EWC of Greece day 2

Nambotin smokes the field again for the overall in brutal heat.

Cervantes finished 3rd for the day in E2 after his bike died yesterday.


BETTER NEWS is American Kurt Caselli podiums and finishes 2nd in E3 behind Nambotin and 5th overall for the day. Wins one test overall.

Only 40 riders made it to the finish in the heat which did not bother Caselli at all apparantly. He is used to it obviously.

On a bummer note KTM's Johnny Aubert crashed badly on day 1 and will be out a few months and will miss the Six Days. I don't like to see people hurt no matter what team they ride for.

I'm with you, I never like to hear of riders injured. Glad to hear Kurt did well in Europe, and mostly Nambotin's success.

Anyone know what happened to the new E1 rider for Gasgas, Cedric Melotte. He DNF'd on day 1 and did not ride day 2.

nothing specific, only that it started very well but that it was destiny that came along...
