2012 plastic fix?

Hi all, its been a couple of years sense I've been on these forums. Life is great in here in Colorado. I was wondering if anyone had a better fix for the rad guards on there 2012 GG 300 other then drilling and zip ties. Does anyone know what kind of plastic the rad guards are made out of? I thought of welding them together. I've done some PVC welding in the past and im sick of the top piece of rad guard coming undone from the bottom. Thx.
