Ec300 r 2012 kickstart hitting front pipe

This might be a daft question but my kickstart has started hitting front pipe when pushing it back over into place and is starting to scratch/wear top of front pipe , Nothing seems bent so wondering what is likely cause of this?

Need to pull the clutch side case cover off and inspect the kick lever gears. It shouldn't swing forward.

You could pull the kick lever and rotate it back one spline.

Otherwise if the issue is that its rotating in towards the bike too much check the lower knuckle and see if its been rheemed out a bit with use.

Think the front pipe has takin a good hit from below and pushed upward as rad was pushed up with pipe touching it and that's why kick start been hitting it .
