I don't realy want to buy the frame and the grill if the guard alone with the inbuilt grill works.

I don't have the grill. I am using the stock plastic fins that came on the GG. I just have the frame, which is the outside plate and the posts.

No worries RG,
I am going to get the guard with the inbuilt grill.
They sound like a great product so I am keen to give them a go.
Thanks for your replies mate,
Cheers Mark

Wence, how did guards turn out. I am trying to decide between bulletproof guards and scorpion's guards (maybe frames Combo).

The radiator guards are brilliant. Easy to instal and great quality.
I also bought the HD bashplate and that is the same. Very happy I went with Scorpion and the Service , her in Australia , was great too.

I thoroughly recommend them. Only problem I have is that the 2012 radiator shrouds are getting a litlle groove cut in them by the top of the radiator guard.I will be rounding off the edge next time I think of it.
Cheers Mark

I just installed these. Very nice product and installed easy. On my 2004 the outside frame is slightly out of alignment on both sides. Not sure if the issue is due to the bends in the radiators but its not a deal breaker. I would buy tgem again for sure.

The grills are nice too, thick and sturdy. Not the cheapest solution but worth it.

After looking at them a little better, the alignment issue is defiantly due to previous impacts. Wish I had bought them when I bought the bike.uploadfromtaptalk1364671540675.jpg
